Playing characteristics

Additionally, warming it up makes it softer, which causes it to bounce more off the edges. The weight of 39 g for the small ball is in the lighter range.

Ball care

To better preserve the ball's surface, the ball should not be touched with greasy, dirty, or very sweaty hands. To keep the ball surface smooth, the ball can be rubbed on a smooth piece of fabric, e.g. on a T-shirt surface or on a towel.
