Fun-Sports - 5 KL
The minigolf ball Fun-Sports 5 KL from Fun-Sports is a very slow, medium-hard, and medium-weight ball. Because the ball hardly bounces, it is also called a dead ball. The exact ball data is:
- Rebound height: 1 cm
- Hardness: 40 sh
- Weight: 46 g
- Size: small (K) (approx. Ø37.5 mm)
- Surface: Smooth lacquer (L)
Playing characteristics
With a rebound height of 1 cm and 40 sh, the ball is classified as a medium-hard dead ball. This type of ball exhibits special thermal behavior. By heating the ball, it becomes softer as usual, but contrary to the norm, it bounces less. This means that instead of becoming faster as usual when heated, this ball slows down. The weight of 44 g for the small ball is in the medium-weight range.
Possible uses
As a medium-hard dead ball, the ball can be used specifically. These are the different lanes and obstacles on classic minigolf systems where the ball could be used:
