The minigolf ball Fun-Sports 2 from Fun-Sports is a medium-fast, hard and medium-weight standard ball with the following ball data:

Playing characteristics

With a rebound height of 18 cm, the ball is classified as medium-fast and is relatively hard at 63 sh. By warming up the ball, it bounces higher and therefore rolls faster. In addition, warming it up makes it softer, which allows it to rebound more. The weight of 51 g for the small ball is in the medium-weight range.

Possible uses

The ball with a smooth lacquered surface (KL) is a true all-rounder and can be used on all minigolf systems. With its raw surface (KR), the ball is less universally applicable, but more specific, if a stronger and more aggressive rebounding behavior is desired. These are the various lanes and obstacles on classic minigolf systems where the ball could be used:

Adventure Golf: The smooth lacquer (KL) is suitable for lanes where a medium-fast, good rolling behavior is desired. The raw ball (KR) is less usable on Adventure Golf, due to less technical rebound play.
Minigolf Open Standards (Others): The smooth lacquer (KL) is suitable for lanes where a medium-fast, good rolling behavior is desired. The raw ball (KR) is suitable for lanes where the ball should cut more during rebound play, so that the ball rebounds more strongly.

The Fun-Sports 2 ball is part of the Fun-Sports ball series, which was specially developed to offer a graded selection of ball materials for beginners. With its data, it is classified as medium-fast, hard and medium-weight in its smooth lacquered and raw versions.

Ball care

To better preserve the ball surface, the ball should not be touched with greasy or very sweaty hands. To keep the ball surface smooth (KL), the ball can be rubbed on a smooth piece of fabric, e.g., on a T-shirt surface or on a towel. The raw ball (KR) should not be rubbed on a T-shirt.
